Camberwell were well represented at the Weird Masters Open Doubles tournament on the weekend of October 29/30.  This is a major interstate competition with 28 mens teams and 12 womens teams coming from 5 states.

Myriam Parsons, Antoine Buffet, Vincenz Mueller and Bob Hutchinson played, and Guy Mercier was the highly respected umpire.

Myriam was the star. She and her partner Ros Allen were runners up in the Ladies Principale i.e the main game, and the Vinz/Bob partnership lost in the final of the 12 team sociale. So two Camberwell teams flying the flag on the podium.
This was a greatly enjoyable event comprising 10 - 11 matches over the weekend.
