What a great day of quality petanque, perseverance, prowess and points.

A well fought out day of competition in sometimes trying circumstances. The players aquitted themselves admirably in the ever changing situation.

Noticably absent from the final dias was the green hat. But there needs to be a break sometimes.

Well done Sue, Guy, Ron and Chris (who's partner dragged the anchor in the last. But she still came through.)

Oh! and it must be acknowledged that J P's work on the shelters and completion thereof, is absolutely applauded and appreciated by all
