Wood Park Wines overWhelmingly Winners with Wine tasters at CPC

Successful and memorable events seem to be the norm from our Social Committee. And none more so than the extremely successful evening of wine tasting followed by a Pizza Party last Saturday, enjoyed by Members and guests making up full capacity (under Covid restriction) of our Clubrooms on Saturday 13th.

Award winning Wine maker John Stokes presented nine of his outstanding vinicultural products.

As a bonus, he also brought along a sampling of cheeses from the Milawa Cheese Company.

The wines, the cheese and the marriage of both, were all an immense success. The background behind each of the wines, as presented by John, gave all who attended a better understanding and appreciation of how the winemaker arrives at the end result.

A big thank you to John, (who gave us 15% Discount and Free Delivery), and the Social committee for organising this wonderful event. A special recognition to Trish for her insider trading in getting this up and running.

Pizzas! Well, they must have been good. Or People must have been hungry. As there was very little left over, showing that the calculations made by your Social Committee were just about spot on. Well Done!
