Sad news of Irene, after being unwell for sometime, passing peacefully in her sleep last week.

Irene and her dear husband Brian were a charming couple who had migrated from Scotland. Irene was a French teacher and Brian an Engineer with Boeing. Apart from petanque at CPC Irene also coordinated regular games with a group of friends near her home. Christmas parties at Lynden Park benefited from her special home cooked salmon. She was an enthusiastic member of CPC in many ways."
